Flickers is printed on a thick high quality paper which makes the deep black background look velvety. The print is unframed and will be posted in a tube. The crop is slightly different to the larger size (80 x 60cm) listed and has a deep red patterned background. A3 size is 42 x 29.7cm A2 size is 59.4 x 42cm.
 
I loved painting this vibrant still life, although the tablecloth took me forever!
It's a little moody and a lot tropical, featuring a lush scene with rich florals, tropical fruits, and glowing glassware. The deep black background makes the bold reds, oranges, and pinks pop, creating a dramatic yet inviting composition.
I called it Flickers as when I photographed the still life it was late on a summer afternoon and I wanted to catch the sun highlighting the glass.
