I loved painting this vibrant still life, although the tablecloth took me forever! It's a little moody and a lot tropical, featuring a lush scene with rich florals, tropical fruits, and glowing glassware. The deep black background makes the bold reds, oranges, and pinks pop, creating a dramatic yet inviting composition.
I called it Flickers as when I photographed the still life it was late on a summer afternoon and I wanted to catch the sun highlighting the glass.
It's printed on a thick high quality paper which makes the deep black background look velvety. The print is unframed and will be posted in a tube.
