I've been obsessed with pattern, colour, a maximalist aesthetic, and mid-century objects since I was a teenager in the 80s.

My current work features spray-painted patterns overlaid with oil-painted portraits of the many vintage objects I can’t bring myself to part with. 

I studied Fine Arts after school but ended up in fashion design, hand screen-printing all my own fabrics. Those passions have since merged, and I now also design surface patterns for fabric and wallpaper.

I have taught adults and children in the community and at a high school for 8 years, teaching everything from screen-printing to spray-painting to rug-tufting.

I’ve lived with mild ME/CFS for many years, but in mid-2023 I caught a virus that left me more severely disabled. I'm now housebound and live with three black cats.
